A Marine, an Umbrella, and a Commander-In-Chief

I haven’t commented on this photo since it first appeared a few days ago. We’ve all heard that it is against USMC uniform code, etc. to carry an umbrella, but that’s not the issue to me. My take? Here is a well-trained young Marine Corporal being denigrated. What I am having a hard time imagining is how any President can stand the thought of one of The Few, The Proud being forced into this role on the world stage. How could the President stand there being kept dry by this proud, squared away young Marine? It says a lot about the man in the Oval Office…and none of what it says is good.
